BSN Appointment Assistance at Gemeente & Expatcenter

At INLS we help clients with their BSN appointment at the Gemeente or Expatcenter. After the BSN appointment at the Gemeente or Expatcenter, you (and your family members) will receive the BSN numbers. With the BSN number, you will be able to work, open a bank account, get health insurance etc.

In cities where there are expatcenters, such as (but not limited to) Den Haag, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Eindhoven, we can make sure that you will receive a fast-tracked appointment to obtain the BSN number.

It’s important that you will have the following documents at the BSN appointment at the Gemeente or Expatcenter:

  • a valid passport
  • a proof of residency, which can either be a residence permit, a temporary sticker visa or just a valid passport for EU citizens.
  • Birth certificate, which needs to have an apostille. Whether you’ll need an apostille also depends on the country of origin.
  • Lease agreement for a house or purchase agreement for a house or a consent form from the main occupant of the house, in which the main occupant gives consent for your registration at the address
  • If you are married, have a registered partnership or if you are non-married partners, then you will also need to have the marriage certificate, registered partnership certificate or the declarations of unmarried status, with an apostille which has a maximum validity of 6 months. Whether you’ll need an apostille also depends on the country of origin.
